Greens, greens, and more greens. We ended up with a lot of spinach and kale so we blanched and froze some for soups. All of our salad greens are still growing and I checked a radish the other day and they are finally getting close. I cannot wait to be able to start harvesting our root veggies. We also had some eggs but not a lot. We spent most of our time indoors this week since we are finally getting some rain.
Here is the first list from the Chico Certified Farmer's Market: Saturday January 21th 2012
Herbs- dill, cilantro, parsley, rosemary, sage, thyme, and lemongrass.
Fruit- grapefruits, many varieties of apples, pommelos, hachiya persimmons, oranges, kiwi, mandarins, lemons, Mexican limes, and Palestine limes.
Happy Harvest Monday, we are linking up with Daphne's Dandelions...so go check out with others are harvesting around the world.

Those greens look tasty!
Nice looking bowl of fresh greens!
Everything looks great. Nice to get some rain isn't it. We have had a very dry winter but finally we got a day of really good rain followed by some snow!!
We have gotten rain about 5 days in a row. It starts to take a toll on the garden after a while. Come summer we won't get any. That's how it works around here. Seems like you have a lot growing! Do you have a greenhouse? xx
Nice looking bowl of greens. Have you ever noticed that salad mixes have less red plants? I've also noticed that the reds tend to grow a bit slower. But I think next year I will let more reds go to seed than green lettuce and get more of a 50=50 mix.
Thankful for the rain! Mary- I agree about the red greens, then do seem to grow slower. I guess we will have to plant more of them. :)
Kallie- We have 4 hoop houses planted full of stuff. We plan on posting about how we made ours next fall.
