I started to make some things for Team Dean to get us through the winter, hats and fingerless gloves. So far just fingerless gloves for the little guy and hats for all of us but once I finish the christmas presents I'll be making them for all of us along with scarves with pockets to warm your hands in.

Knitted gifts for Baby
Please note this blog is no longer updated. (Click here to find my new blog address). Here are things I made for the baby shower...I have been waiting to post them so they would be a suprise. Knitting for girls is so much more fun and I can't wait to make more things for this new little lady. I have to finish christmas gifts for the other cousin before I start but I be making a moblie and a few stuff animals soon.
teaching myself to knit...
Please note this blog is no longer updated. (Click here to find my new blog address).
My mother taught me how to knit when I was little probably around 6 or 7 years old but she always had to start and finish it for me. Then as I got older I had to learn how to start and finish it myself but I just kept it simple...back and forth and back and forth. I was a barnes and noble a little over a year ago looking for a simple sewing book thinking I would teach myself how to sew and get a sewing machine and I found a knitting book and decided it would be more cost effective to try this first. I am learning more and more everytime I try a new pattern and having so much fun making things for friends, family and the little guy. I am planning on opening my own esty.com shop online to sell things in the future. I think in about 6-9 months I'll finally have time to make some stuff in advance to post. Right now I'm working on stuff for winter for the family, christmas gifts for the cousins and stuff for my niece who is due in the end of Dec. So much fun and I'll keep everyone posted as to when I'll be opening my shop. :)
